Ellen joined MiddleGame Ventures in 2022 to focus on Seed investments, and to bring financial data, commercialization and scaling expertise to early stage start-ups in the Irish ecosystem. Ellen helps source investments and provides strategic advice and assistance to companies within the portfolio. Based in Dublin, Ellen provides mentorship to various Irish start-ups and entrepreneurs holding office hours at local workspaces.
Former COO of Genscape, who helped guide them to successful sale and having held multiple senior leadership positions at Thomson Reuters, including Head of Strategy, Head of Investment Banking Division and Head of Innovation Business, Ellen has extensive experience in operations and strategy, as well as in mentoring and coaching. Ellen was recognized at the United Way of New York City “Power of Women to Make a Difference” awards honoring the achievements of women who have made an impact on their communities.
Ellen is a Baker Scholar (top 5% of graduating class) of Harvard Business School and is a graduate of Duke University.
